You are responsible for the content you post to an online channel. We may also use tracking technologies to determine whether you have read, clicked on, or forwarded certain email communications we send to you so that we can make our communications more helpful and interesting. Terms and Conditions Specific to Event Registration
There may be specific terms and conditions posted on the registration pages for an event that are specific to that event. Please check the home page of the event when you register, to see if there are event-specific terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions Specific to Paid Products and/or Services
For Monthly Continuous Memberships: You understand and agree that you will make monthly payments for your membership on an on-going basis. Your membership is continuous and has no fixed end date. You may notify the YMCA at any time that you wish to cancel your membership OR you may use self-service options to cancel your membership. Fees are subject to change upon the provision of a minimum of 30 days notice by the YMCA to the member by mail or email.
Monthly Payments: the monthly payment amount will be clearly outlined at the time of purchase and will be charged to the credit card or Visa debit that you registered with on the day of registration and on the same day on each following month. Applicable taxes (HST) will be applied to the base membership fee.
Rejected Payment: I agree that if a monthly payment is rejected from my bank or credit card company, I will pay the balance owing. If I do not reimburse the YMCA of Greater Toronto within 15 business days after two consecutive returned payments, I understand that my membership will be cancelled with no refund. The YMCA reserves the right to make several attempts to charge fees to your credit card up to 30 days after the declined payment.
I understand and agree:
My account/Credit Card will be debited on or after the day of the month that I originally registered on each and every month.
Funds will be withdrawn from my credit card or bank monthly until I cancel my membership.
It is my responsibility to inform YMCA every time payment information on file changes (new credit card expiry date, change in credit card)
I may cancel my membership at any time, for any reason, by following the cancellation policy. (see item #4 in the General Terms and Conditions below for details)

Terms & Conditions Specific to Virtual Personal Training
EXPIRY: All Personal Training sessions are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. This applies to package sessions purchased (i.e. punch pass) and monthly membership sessions.
SESSION EXPERIENCE: All sessions are scheduled for 30 minutes with your Personal Trainer. Back-to-back bookings are permitted if you wish to have a 60 minute session. Sessions are scheduled based on pre-determined schedule blocks. Scheduling outside of these blocks is only done in the case of extenuating circumstances such as trainer absence or internet outage. For convenience - packages are available for members in sets of 4, 8 and 12. The unit price is the same regardless of quantity. Virtual Personal Training is conducted over Zoom we strongly recommend that clients have their camera on during the training session.
REFUND POLICY FOR PACKAGE SESSIONS: If you wish to withdraw from Personal Training and get a refund for any unused personal training sessions, you may do so prior to the expiry date. A $50 administration fee will be applied.
Exceptions to the refund policy: Buyers remorse full refund is available if requested within 10 days of purchase. If the YMCA is unable to find a suitable Trainer for the client in a timely fashion, a refund will be issued, without an administration fee.
24 HOUR CANCELLATION: Clients who wish to reschedule a booked appointment must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice. Clients can reschedule their own appointments in the SFG app. Sessions that are not rescheduled in this time frame will be forfeited. Appeals to this policy can be made to the PT supervisor within 48 hours of scheduled training.
LATENESS: If client signs on to a session late, the session will still end on time. The trainer will remain available for the entire time for the scheduled session.

Terms & Conditions Specific to Non-Paid Access or Trial Access
Complimentary Access/Basic Access to the Sweat For Good app is available to individuals 15 years of age and older. A select number free designated Online Fitness classes are offered with Complimentary Access/Basic Access. Trial users can upgrade to paid programs and/or services at any time within the Sweat for Good App.
You must be an active paying member of the YMCA of Greater Toronto to access any in-person programming at one of our physical locations. No cash value; not for resale or transferable; non-refundable.

General Terms & Conditions
As a YMCA member I understand and agree:
1. A YMCA membership is not transferable, and I will not share my access with another individual.
2. I will notify the YMCA of any changes in my contact information (mailing address, phone #, email or emergency contact details).
3. I have certain recourse rights, if any debit does not comply with this agreement. For example, I have the right to receive reimbursement for any debit that is not authorized or is not consistent with this Pre-authorized Debit Agreement. To obtain more information on my recourse rights, I may contact my financial institution, or visit www.cdnpay.ca.
4. Cancellation policy: A membership can be cancelled at any time. Cancellations will not be back-dated. No refund shall be issued on monthly payments. Access to online group fitness classes will be terminated as of your monthly paid until date. The onus is on the account holder to ensure the monthly deductions have been discontinued.
5. The YMCA welcomes you to return at any time. Please note that published rates and membership offerings at time of re-activation will apply.
6. The YMCA reserves the right to terminate membership privileges, without refund, for an account overdue more than 60 days, or suspend/cancel a membership in its sole discretion for inappropriate behaviour or failure to comply with the YMCA Etiquette Statement.

Your YMCA Etiquette Statement- Our commitment to each other
The YMCA is a shared experience for everyone to enjoy. Each of us can make it better for all by being considerate to others. YMCA members, staff and volunteers pledge to treat one another with respect and dignity. The YMCA reserves the right to suspend or cancel a membership in its sole discretion for inappropriate behaviour or failure to comply with the Etiquette Statement.

Limitation of Liability
While YMCA staff and instructors make every reasonable effort to minimize exposure to known risks, the YMCA recommends that you consult with your physician before participating in any YMCA program. Neither the YMCA nor its staff, instructors or volunteers are licensed medical care providers and have no expertise in determining the effect of any specific program such as an exercise program, or equipment on a medical condition. You understand and agree that in registering for a YMCA program you may be involved in physical activity and that with any physical activity there is a risk of injury. By participating in YMCA programs you agree that you are participating voluntarily and do so at your own risk and you agree to fully release the YMCA and its officers, directors, agents, staff, instructors and volunteers from all claims or lawsuits for any injuries, death, property damage or theft, losses, or any other liability of any kind, arising directly or indirectly out of your participation in YMCA programs.

General
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and any dispute arising hereunder shall be resolved exclusively by the courts in the province of Ontario.
The YMCA may update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to you. The YMCA may further, in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate access to its website or any of the services provided on its website, change or make improvements to any portion of its website information or services, without notice to you.
Please review these Terms and Conditions from time to time, as your continued Website usage will mean that you accept these changes.
